Mar Vista Residence
A complete renovation was necessary to make this chopped-up house an open floor plan home, perfect for a young family. The first phase of the project included bringing the structure down to its studs, new windows, removing outdated fireplaces and walls as well as leveling varying floor and ceiling heights to create an open concept, while allowing for a formal sitting room, dining room and den. Custom finishes including molding throughout, kitchen, wet-bar, and den cabinetry brought a traditional warmth to the living spaces. Both bathrooms were overhauled, complete with custom vanities and precision tiling. Finally, the exterior was painted, original brick white-washed, and new landscaping creating a consistent traditional feel indoors and out.
